Early Potty Training
At Mini Island Doodles, we take a thoughtful and intentional approach to early potty training. Beginning at approximately four weeks of age, our puppies are gently guided to use a designated potty area, building cleanliness habits and confidence from the very beginning.
Goldendoodles are known for their intelligence and eagerness to please, and when paired with this early guidance, they quickly grasp expectations.
Indoor to Outdoor
By the time they go home, Mini Island Doodles puppies already understand the concept of a designated potty area — creating a natural bridge to outdoor training. Many families find that placing the potty tray near the door and establishing a consistent outdoor routine helps reinforce this progression with minimal confusion.
Grooming
Bringing home a Mini Island Doodle means welcoming a puppy with a beautiful, non-shedding, fully furnished coat — one that requires consistent care to maintain its quality and softness. Most puppies are ready for their first professional groom between 4–6 months of age, with daily brushing at home from week one.
