Mini Island Doodles is on Grosse Ile near Detroit — about 4.5 hours from Chicago by car, or a short flight via flight nanny. We work regularly with Chicago and surrounding-suburb families who choose us for our small-program approach and in-home raising.
Most Chicago-area families choose flight nanny — your puppy travels in-cabin with an experienced pet escort to O'Hare or Midway, where you collect them. Ground transport is also available. Both options are arranged through trusted partners and are billed separately from puppy purchase.

A trained pet escort flies in-cabin with your puppy to your nearest major airport. They handle pickup at our home, the flight, and meeting you at the airport. Costs are typically $400–$700 depending on the airport and time of year.
O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW) both work. We coordinate based on the flight nanny's availability and the most direct route from Detroit Metro.
Yes. The drive is about 4.5 hours each way via I-94 East. Many families plan a one-night stay nearby and turn it into a small trip.
