Distance & Drive Time
Brownstown Charter Township borders the mainland side of Grosse Ile, putting it closer to our program than almost any other community. From most of the township, the drive is 10 to 15 minutes via West Road. Whether you're closer to Trenton, Woodhaven, or Flat Rock, or down near Lake Erie Metropark at the township's southern end, you're only a short trip from visiting by appointment once your application has been reviewed.
With one of the shortest drives of any community we serve, Brownstown families almost always come to us for pickup. Your appointment happens right in our home, where your puppy has lived since birth, and the route couldn't be more direct: West Road to the Grosse Ile bridge, usually 10 to 15 minutes door to door.
What Sets Us Apart
More than a decade of breeding on Grosse Ile has only reinforced our decision to stay small. The whole litter lives in the middle of our household — ENS begins within days of birth, and potty training is already taking hold before any puppy leaves us. Grown doodles from our lines land between 15 and 35 pounds, their low-shedding coats a good match for households managing allergies, and a two-year health guarantee stands behind each one. For Brownstown families, we recommend applying early — our litters are intentionally limited each year.

We'd love to meet you, but visits are by appointment only and are scheduled after we've reviewed your application. Raising puppies in our home means we keep foot traffic calm and predictable for them. Once you're approved, being this close makes arranging a visit simple.
Sooner rather than later. We're a small, intentional program rather than a high-volume kennel, so litters are limited and reservations move quickly. Applying early puts you in the best position when the next litter arrives.
