Ann Arbor · Washtenaw County
A boutique Mini Goldendoodle breeder under an hour from Ann Arbor, raising puppies in our home on Grosse Ile.
Distance & Drive Time
Mini Island Doodles sits on Grosse Ile, an island in the Detroit River about an hour east of Ann Arbor. For University of Michigan families, Washtenaw professionals, and the wider Ann Arbor community, we offer thoughtfully bred Mini Goldendoodle puppies in the 15–35 lb adult range with the temperament and coat consistency boutique buyers expect.
Ann Arbor families typically pick up in person — the drive is about 50 minutes via M-14 East and I-275 South. We can also arrange ground transport if a midweek schedule makes pickup difficult.

What Sets Us Apart
Ann Arbor buyers tend to be informed buyers — researching breed, coat genetics, and breeder ethics. We welcome that kind of due diligence. Our parent dogs are cherished family members with proven, gentle temperaments. Each puppy is raised in our home with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), early scent introduction, sound desensitization, and a structured potty tray system. Our 2-year health guarantee reflects the confidence we have in our pairings.
Currently Available
We breed only a small, intentional number of litters each year. Apply to be added to our waitlist — we'll personally reach out as soon as we know more about timing for your match.

No coat is 100% hypoallergenic, but we breed for fully furnished, low-shedding coats that are well-tolerated by many people with mild allergies. We always recommend spending time with a Mini Goldendoodle before deciding.
Mini Goldendoodles are often well-suited for therapy work, given their intelligent and intuitive temperaments. Service-dog work is an individual evaluation; we're happy to talk about whether a particular puppy might be a candidate.
