Oakland County · Michigan
From the lakes of Commerce Township, one easy drive of about an hour brings you to Grosse Ile and the family home behind every Mini Island Doodles litter.
Distance & Drive Time
Our puppies grow up on Grosse Ile, an island in the Detroit River about 55 miles from Commerce Township. For families across Oakland County's lakes area — Walled Lake, Wolverine Lake, Novi, Wixom, Milford, and West Bloomfield — we're roughly an hour away by car via M-5 and I-75. One easy drive is all it takes, and visits are arranged by appointment once your application has been reviewed, so the trip is always a purposeful one.
Commerce Township families pick up in person, and the drive is simpler than it sounds — M-5 along the Haggerty Road corridor to I-75, about an hour each way. We'll help you plan pickup day and set a quiet appointment time so your puppy meets you in our home, and many families turn the trip into a relaxed day out.

What Sets Us Apart
We raised our first litter in 2015 and have kept our numbers low ever since — every litter whelped and raised inside our house on Grosse Ile rather than a kennel building. Early Neurological Stimulation runs through each puppy's earliest days, house-training groundwork is laid before go-home day, and a 2-year health guarantee backs every puppy. At 15 to 35 pounds full grown, with coats that shed little, our doodles are a comfortable fit for Commerce Township families who want a calm, well-started companion — and who'd rather make one worthwhile drive than settle for a high-volume kennel closer to home.
Currently Available
We breed only a small, intentional number of litters each year. Apply to be added to our waitlist — we'll personally reach out as soon as we know more about timing for your match.
