Wyandotte sits on the Detroit River about nine miles north of Grosse Ile, making it one of the closest communities to our program anywhere Downriver. Whether you're near Bishop Park, the riverfront downtown, or over toward Southgate, Lincoln Park, or Riverview, the drive to our island typically takes 15 to 20 minutes. That short distance means an easy visit by appointment once your application has been reviewed — and a calm, unhurried pickup day when your puppy is ready to come home.
In-person pickup is the norm for Wyandotte families — head south on Biddle Avenue to Fort Street through Riverview, or follow West Jefferson along the river, and you'll reach the Grosse Ile bridge in about 15 to 20 minutes. Pickup happens at a scheduled appointment in our home, with unrushed time to meet your puppy before the short ride back.
What Sets Us Apart
Our program has stayed small and intentional since 2015 — never a high-volume kennel. Puppies grow up underfoot in our living spaces, beginning Early Neurological Stimulation as newborns and building potty-training habits well before go-home day, so the first night in your Wyandotte home feels natural. Expect an adult size of 15 to 35 pounds and a low-shedding coat that suits many allergy-sensitive families, along with a two-year health guarantee on every puppy. With litter numbers capped each year, applying early is the surest path to a spot.
